Comprehensive Warranty Details
Effective Date: Invoices on or after February 1, 2023.Please refer to your specific purchase invoice to determine which warranty coverage applies to your unit.
The terms below define the coverage details based on the warranty type listed on your receipt.3-Year / Unlimited Mile Coverage Options
If your unit includes a 3-Year Unlimited Mile Warranty, it falls under one of the following coverage tiers based on the labor rate listed for your product:
Option A: Platinum Coverage ($90/hr Labor)
Applies to: Specific Gas Engines, Transmissions, Differentials, and Transfer Cases.
Warranty Term: 3 Years / Unlimited Miles.Labor Reimbursement: Paid at $90 per hour (Parts & Labor).
Towing & Rental: Reimbursement up to $200 for towing and/or economy car rental.Unit Features: These units are typically bench-built by a single specialist using higher-grade parts and advanced testing.Option B: Standard Coverage ($70/hr Labor)
Applies to: Specific Gas Engines and Automatic Transmissions.
Warranty Term: 3 Years / Unlimited Miles.
Labor Reimbursement: Paid at $70 per hour (Parts & Labor).
3-Year / 100,000 Mile Coverage Options
If your unit includes a 3-Year / 100,000 Mile Warranty, the coverage details are as follows:
Option C: Standard Mileage Coverage ($70/hr Labor)
Applies to: Specific Gas Engines, Transmissions, and Transfer Cases.
Warranty Term: 3 Years or 100,000 Miles (whichever comes first).
Labor Reimbursement: Paid at $70 per hour (Parts & Labor).
Unit Features: Assembly line built using quality components; engines include a complimentary gasket kit.
Option D: Economy Mileage Coverage ($50/hr Labor)
Applies to: Specific Transmissions, Differentials, and Transfer Cases.Warranty Term: 3 Years or 100,000 Miles (whichever comes first).
Labor Reimbursement: Paid at $50 per hour (Parts & Labor).Unit Features: Assembly line built using good quality components at an aggressive price point.
What’s Covered
Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship, including issues related to the remanufacturing process or faulty components. Replacement costs for defective engines are fully covered, and reasonable labor costs associated with repairs or replacement are reimbursed.
Exclusions and Limitations
While our warranty is comprehensive, certain conditions and exclusions apply. Engines must be installed by a certified mechanic and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines. Damage caused by overheating, lack of lubrication, or improper use is not covered. Alterations made without prior approval void the warranty, and accessory components such as gaskets, belts, hoses, or external components are not covered.
Warranty Claim Process
Filing a warranty claim is simple. First, contact us at Precision Reman with details about the issue. Next, provide proof of purchase, installation receipts from a certified mechanic, and evidence of regular maintenance. Our team will review your claim and determine the appropriate course of action, whether it’s repair or replacement.
Important Notes
Warranty claims may be denied if invoices remain unpaid for more than 60 days. The warranty is transferable if the vehicle ownership changes during the warranty period.
